Jeep ranks LAST in JD Powers Survey?
I read Motor Trend religiously and to sort of refute the basic premise of this thread, the Wrangler is rated extremely high by them. One of only 6-7 vehicles that received a 5 star rating (with company like Ferrari...). The JD Power ranking here really doesn't apply to owner loyalty or happiness. Don't read too much into this.
Simply put the Wrangler is one of the most coveted vehicles on the planet. It is a niche vehicle and it isn't for everyone, but it's just right for me and you.

Huge JOKE!
Toyota is second from last and Porche/Jaguar are 1-2?
First off, both those brands SUCK for reliability. The jags are british junk that traditionally rank as one of the worst repair volume vehicles on the market. I'd take a look at the survey's focus. Don't even get me started on Porshe. $860 to replace the radiator overflow bottle???!!! That is $39 part from Kragen.
Jeeps have been lower quality however, but no where near the worst. I am guessing that owners of jeeps have different expectations than some other car brands.
