Jeep Vacations?
We want to go on a vacation with our son who will be close to 2 years old this summer. Last year we went to Myrtle Beach and he loved the beach! This year I was hoping we can go somewhere where we can have some fun with the Jeep too.
Any recommendations? We are from Ohio so looking to go somewhere within a 12 hour drive max.

Two years old? Twelve hour drive? Disney. No, not Disneyland or Disney World. Disney, Oklahoma. Okay, that's more for you. But, spend most of the time at Branson, MO, where there's a ton of family activities, then take one day and head over for a day of wheeling on some of the best rock and trails in the Midwest: Disney, Oklahoma. There's no charge to wheel in Disney (it's open BLM land)--but if you do go it's a good idea to coordinate with someone to have a partner just in case you get into trouble. Plus, there's lots of trails plenty suitable for a stock JK--and there's lots of obstacle over-the-top even for radical trail rigs (search on "Disney Viagra" on YouTube). You can camp at any of a variety of place--state parks and private campgrounds. Hogans is right next to the entry to the wheeling area, and he's a huge wheeler himself (it's because of him that the area is still open). In Branson, take him to Silver Dollar City and the fish hatchery. There's shows for the wife and you. I'll let you research the prices since it's been many, many years since I've done Branson.
There is the 3rd annual Topless For TATA's event at Rausch Creek Off-road Park August 6th.
The KOA in Pine Grove, 15 minutes from Rausch Creek, is very family friendly, we have done a few camping/wheeling weekends there.
