It's alive here in Maryland and I'm a stock Jeep and I wave all of the time and get lots of waves back from modded and stock Jeeps of all vintage.

Yeah, the JK's appeal to a new segment (the truck and SUV masses). The TJ's were the end of an era in that regard. I still wave, but only the mod'd JK's wave back usually.

I'm waving at the Jeep NOT the driver. I pay homage to the JEEP and wave at every one. Not all Jeep drivers are Jeepers and some Jeepers are douche bags so I wave at the JEEP itself - that way I'm happy regardless!

And to htweelz: I'm with you 100% as soon as anyone wants to pay for my mods then they can say who is a "real" jeeper and who isn't. Unfortunatley I'm all stock and will be for a while (not for lack of wanting to add stuff) I have other responsibilites that trump mods! on man...on
