Majority of JK's in my neck of the woods of Sierra Nevada Foothills Northern CA, rarely wave. Did get a single wave today from a lady in a nice expedition looking JK.

I have a JK and I ran into an old head driving an old CJ today. I initiated the wave and he rolled his eyes and begrudgingly waved back! It was the highlight of my day.

Nothing sexier than that so now we both drive JKUs as daily drivers. However our JKUs do see the trails and not just pavement, but I think the most important part is how much our kids love our jeeps. It could be freezing outside and they want to take the top off, or go on fishing and camping trips every weekend. So back to your post, yes there are a lot of soccer moms driving JKUs, but just keep in mind some of us are just raising the next generation of jeepers! My oldest son already told me he wants a rubi for his 16th birthday. That sir makes daddy proud.

You guy gotta go further up the mtn from pine cove, and just after Lake Fulmore there is a trail to the left.... It is a very nice trail lots of fun. Nothing like Bee canyon.

And heck All ya really gotta do is yank yer top off.... Ya be surprised how many waves you would get.... If you were a woman lol

It is rare that us XJ guys wave to you guys. Unless you wave first, no way is the XJ going to wave back.

Now I also have a jk, and i get a good amount of people waving back. One of the big dealers here used to tell people about it.

I drove a 1994 Jeep XJ and had K9 in the back seat. It had a cool logo on its side, blue lights on the top, and a siren. I never got a wave but do remember getting the finger a time or two!
