then you're one of the exceptions to the rule ... all i'm trying to say is in my neck of the woods, (and i'm not the only one to notice this) saharas are more attractive to the 1st time jeep buyer who is unaware of the wave. some saharas never see more than a city puddle. i do know of some who off road extensively and are extensively modded. I also know of one guy who has a rubicon unlimited and is fully modded but never sees the trail . their are all sorts of jeepers in this world. if i counted all the jeepers who waive back and all the ones who don't, the majority of the ones who don't waive back are sahara owners. that's all i was trying to get across from the get-go.. doesn't mean they all don't waive, just the majority. peace out and long live the waive

The ones that don't wave back the most to me are TJ owners and older folks in 2 door jk's but I still refuse to judge.

I wave but I feel like a jackass when they don't wave back. I try my hardest to notice jeeps (wranglers) and still try to be a good driver. Sometimes its hard with a manual shifting turning and waving all at once.

Btw I drive a Sahara and I have been off roading I just got a really good price on it otherwise I would have found a Rubicon or x/sport

There is this serious looking old guy in an old pickup truck that I meet on the road every morning going to work. He must work nights and be coming home. Just for kicks I started waving at him, and for 30 days he just looked at me and kinda of scowled. Then one day he waved back.

Now every time we pass we smile and wave at each other.

I have no idea who he is or what his life is like, but for that one moment at least, he seems to enjoy that silly little wave.

There are a couple young soccer moms driving JK's that I see often on the trip now wave back at me, it took awhile to get them to wave back to the crazy guy with the beard flying in the wind.

Never noticed anyone flip me off, but that would not stop me.

I will have to work on choosing my next waving project, not like there is a bunch else to do driving down the road.

I saw the same gal again and my daughter and I both waved, no finger this time but no wave either. I don't think it has anything to do with what they drive, it's the person driving that makes the differance.

I drive a JKU and I agree. Been driving Jeeps since I was 16 and being on my forth Jeep now...everyone in my family knows and loves the Jeep wave. Next time someone doesn't wave or gives the finger, just wave and smile more. It will either piss them off or make them feel like an asshole for not waving back. Since the JKU came out, there is a whole new world of Jeep owners out there...spread the love lol
