Jeep Wrangler X Future ?

Thats the whole point all the running gear of the rubicon less everything else. I know the radio is NOT mandatory, but as for the other sensors you may be right. This is just a perfect world senario for me is all. A JK with all the rubicon running gear and a stripped interior. As for the bumpers I should have been more specific, the plastic bumper covers, the steel beam with the crush cans you have to have on it.
If you could get chrylser or fiat to build one like that i know it would be a niche vehicle, but wouldnt it be nice to buy an off-raod or builders package? Stripped interior, no frills, no a/c, just solid running gear and enough gizmos to keep it street legal????

Don't know about that radio, but for years they were an option in TJ's before they became standard.
Were you able to get a radio delete plate (like in the Rubicon King) from the dealer?
If you have a 2dr I might be interested in the rear driver's side sport bar padding. Mine has a hole ripped in it from a tree.
You mean on the unlimited?

Man, either I really missed something when I bought my 09, or jeep really took away from the options you could add in the two door x. There were no upgrades for elockers or swaybar disconnects anywhere when you build your 09. Not even an option for rear LSD on the most basic X B package (what I have). I took the X B because I did not want AC and I wanted the more rugged vinyl seats. I just wish jeep didn't force us to buy rubicons or 4 door X's for lockers and other goodies.

Well Chrysler has said .NO V8 for the Wrangler ,just the new 3.6 sometime in the future, they haven't talk about the new fiat V6 3.0 diesel thats build for the US market yet? But it should be in Chrysler vehicles by 2011 or 12. You would think all the upgrade parts posted above shouldn't cost that much more, after the price for the old parts are deducted by Chrysler, maybe 2 or3 K added to the price to the wrangler X. So this is what we should do , go to[http://www.chryslerllc.com/en/ or call them at 1800-992-1997 from 8 am to 5 pm cst and just tell them what you want on your future Wrangler X . I wonder if they could merge the J8 and Wrangler into one Wrangler Jeep ( JK8 )

So this is what you did with your Rubicon? You removed the radio, sport bar padding and carpet- now you have basically what you described?

As of yet no, but considering stripping it out. Te point being you could get all the good running gear and still save a few $$ buy not paying for what you dont need/want. Now that said, seeing as i had to pay for all the nice-ity stuff to get my lockers, 44's, etc, i think I am going to enjoy it.
Just imagine lets say 22K for for all the running gear of the rubicon and a stripped interior you dont have to worry about!
