Default JK-1...Bambi-1

Well I'll call this a tie. I just bought a new house and just finished doing the interior work. Just finished painting the whole inside and redoing the wood floors and moving furniture in and what not. So i'm driving home for my 1st night sleep in my new house. Then a deer decides to test my JK and run out infront of it. Well I saw no oncoming traffic so I darted a little over the lines to try and get ahead of the deer. I knew slamming on the breaks wouldn't work. So I whacked that deer good. I just hit the front legs/head area on the fender/bumper area because I looked out my side window and watched the deer spinning on the gravel like a top. I swear it did about 10 revolutions then got up and darted off. No blood, no hair, no expensive damage. My front fenderwell is mangled and I need a new headlight bulb and side marker bulb. The grille popped back into place and the fender dent popped out easy. I'd say it was the best outcome I can think of with hitting a deer.

I guess i'll be getting that full width instead of a shorty ha ha.

So now i'm driving without a front pass fender and i'm just waiting for my flat fenders to come in. Should be 2-3 weeks. YAY!

I not sure if you aren't happy that this gave you a great excuse for upgrades!

LOL not enough damage to be happy to upgrade, but certainly not mad that I have to "get new fenders" lol.

wow, lucky it was that easy! I hit a deer in almost exact same situation back in February, and it cost about $9000.00 in repairs and rental car bills (covered by insurance) on my old '05 GMC Jimmy.

Glad things weren't worse!

How big was yours? Mine wasn't that big at all. Looked like a female.
