What is best way to increase the JK engine power ?

Up it to a hemi . Otherswise the basics, intake, exhaust, chip.

Spend lots of money for a hemi. JK 3.8 power does not exist. It has enough power for what it is, if this is your first Jeep then you wouldnt realize. CAI an Cat Back Exhaust an programmer. Thats it for the 3.8.

so wouldnt regearing work ? going from 3.21 to 4.88 for example

Yes makes a big difference in my opinion I went from 3.21 to 4.88 on a 2dr manual and I love it it was like night and day with the 35's

Swap it, RIPP it, or regear it.

Otherwise you can bolt on performance piece by piece and maybe see a slight improvement.


Or enjoy the slow lane.
