Default JK solid model CAD anyone??

I know this is an off question but I wanna design a tube to weld onto to PJ my bumper and would like to get a feel for how different sizes and bends would look on the JK. Does anyone have a solid model (CAD data) of the JK? Prefer Solid Edge file but, iges or other generic 3D file will be great.

Right, it's a bolt on.

Maybe you can weld it on.

ive been trying to make one in Google sketch up but its a real pain in the a$$.

when i did some sketches for my roof rack idea and my light bar i modeled only a few specific parts of the JK, like the wind shield reinforcements... spaced them corectly and drew up my stuff, if i ever manage to get a complet model done ill let ya know.

you would probably have much better luck looking for a .dxf file (i think its dxf, whatever the classic autocad file is)

.dxf .3ds .max

these were at least at one point in time the most popular formats for a 3d file because a lot of programs could open them

so find any format you can and theres probably a way to convert it into the type you need.

now on an off topic matter
if anyone wants to teach me how to use autodesk inventor or xsi id ge greatful (online articles just dont cut it for me)

If you download and install sketchup you can go to File>3d Warehouse>Get Models
Search for Jeep JK and there's one thats actually a JK.

Models ok. I probably shouldn't comment, I wouldn't put in the time to get the model even that far.
