mAN I FEEL DUMB ASKING THIS BUT ASKED SOME OF MY BUDDIES, WHAT DOES JK STAND FOR OR DOES IT NOT, IS IT JUST JK. I KNOW DIFFERENT YEARS ARE DIFFERENT SIGNATURES SUCH AS CJ, YJ, CJ AND MAYBE THATS ALL THEIR IS TO IT JUST CURIOUS IF THEY STAND FOR ANYTHING OR JUST REPRESENT THE YEAR RANGE.

How about "Just Killed" my wallet. I always thought it should have been designated "PJ" instead for "Plastic Jeep."

most Jeep designations end in *J until the new stuff. Thinking they just moved on to *K before they ran out of letters.

Agreed. I would have to say that the worst and in my opinion the most humorous moniker a Jeep was ever given was the square headlighted YJ. Many referred to it as "The Wrongler."

that's funny, but i think the YJ fit in at the time. lots of vehicles were sporting the rectangular headlamps back then.

i loved my YJ & wouldn't have traded it for anything at the time. ....but it's an outdated look now.
