Had a school bus blow a red light in front of me today...fortunately I can drive worth a sh!t and managed to slide the jeep sideways (It was snowy and slick) and not T-bone it. R Front fender and wheel damage...hopefully nothing significant underneath.

The pisser is that I was just getting ready to try and buy a four door...ggggrrrrr

Like I said in my text, I think we can still salvage the fender and just trim them up... Haha, JK. Glad ya'll are ok and I'll keep my eye out for some fenders (believe WYOJK said he already sold his )

Bus was at fault...no sure if he was ticketed, but I sure wasn't.

Yeah WYOJK sold his already. There will be a little pounding to do but I'm going to cash out, fix it up, and trade it off on a four door!

Idk what the law is in Wyoming, but in NJ you have to yield to buses, and I'm sure police in my town would construe that to mean, even if a bus runs a red light, you need to yield to them. It sucks that it's a bus though because there is going to be a police report, if it was just fender damage, and not a bus, I would've told the person to get lost and ate the cost of a new fender just to avoid a car fax which makes it near impossible to get a halfway decent resale value. My truck had a car fax even though there was no damage to it from the accident and when I was thinking of trading it in, the dealership knocked 4 grand off the trade in value just because it would have to go to auction.

Just trim the fenders and put new clips on... it'll be fine.

If I were planning on keeping it I would trim them for sure. But the dealer has seen it before and may be a little suspicious...

I need a fender ASAP!
