Just curious

I have the American Eagle series 101b rims and on either side, inline with the lug holes are two 1/4" threaded holes. any one happen to know what they might be for?

I don't know what the manufacturer had in mind, but those threaded holes would be handy to thread bolts into to aid in wheel removal when corrosion make removal difficult.
