Just installed Clearplex for windshield
Windshield "film" doesn't work. While I'm sure it'll reduce the amount of tiny knicks Jeep windshields generally collect, you pretty much just threw $99 away. Your money would be better spent getting glass coverage, which most insurance companies have, allowing you to get your windshield replaced at little or no cost to you.
Jeep windshields take more rocks to the face than Whitney Houston simply due to the angle. It's just one of the unfortunate circumstances of how the vehicle is designed. I've gone through three already in my 2012, but it has cost me less than what you paid for that product.

OK so I am on my second day and while driving day or night, I can't tell its there other than obviously knowing. I used the wipers about 20 cycles on the way to work and so far so good.
It is supposed to snow this weekend so I'll update. I have already rain x'd and all appears normal.
My buddy at work turned me on to this stuff and swears by it but advised today that he uses 2 applications on top of one another. He commutes 65 freeway miles a day and has yet to get a star or crack, so I'll give this one by itself a go and see what happens.
Just for clarity, I drive 40 miles a day freeway to/ from work and weekend offroad. 6th windshield in a year.

If I spent $99 for this great coincidence - im ok with that. My father and a few other Jeep buddies have since installed and are having the same luck. Seems like it works to me.
