Default Just my luck

Down in Va for some training for the military and had the jeep parked in the lot near the hotel. Woke up this morning to find this

They unscrewed the back window climbed in and took the doors and hood. I probably had 6 grand worth of military gear inside the jeep and they didn't touch any of it. Insurance will cover it but it's just the hassle of it all. No I didn't have hood locks or other stuff for security and as much as I troll this forum I'm surprised I haven't seen more stories about this. What should I buy so next time they will think twice, besides a gun cause if I caught the SOB they would have 2 in the chest and one in the head. That is all....

Man that sucks. I would have no problems squeezing off a few rounds into someone stealing my property. It's a f-n shame people are pathetic enough to do this. I remembers years ago in my area someone was going around stealing doors and hardtop apparently to resell. And who the hell steals a hood? Sorry about your misfortune brother I hope the thieves get theirs...

That Sucks! What ass holes. If they own a jeep and actually wanted this stuff that is just wrong. Everyone knows not to mess with another mans jeep... Get insurance to buy you an AEV hood

wow- that sucks.

Tuffy makes locks for door hinges. I've seen locking hood hold downs, they look better than cheap hood lock - can't remember who makes them.

never thought the back window would be that easy to undo.

At least insurance is covering it.

I think you jinxed yourself with your screen name.
Man that really sucks. More reason to stay doorless/topless year round.

Did you check the hotel security cameras? Looks like Springhill and Aloft signs in the pics. I'd assume both would have at least some outdoor CCTV.

Hate to say this but someone stole this with a purpose , if they would have stole the hard top then I would say something different but the hood and the doors either it was to repair another one or to two tone their jeep I am just saying if I stole all that then I would have got that hard top

I AM NOT POINTING FINGERS
