We all love our mods. But fess up-- there's at least one thing on your Jeep that you're gonna keep. You know... cause you got a little bit of that stocker love? Other than the tub, let's here it. Stuff you want to change but can't afford to (like my axle and gears ) doesn't count.

• I'm keeping my stocker flairs! I love these big old crumply hunks of plastic. I've beat them up really nicely and they just keep on rockin'. When they finally fall off completely, I'm replacing them with stockers again!
  
• I'm also sticking with my khaki soft top. It may leak a little and it may not be the quietest kid in the class, but I can throw it down in less than a minute 1000 miles away from home. Plus, she is damn sexy!
  
• I don't know if my rubicon rock rails count as stockers since I'm in a Sahara.... but I'm keeping those too.

That's about it. Pretty much everything else either has gone or will as soon as I win the lottery.

 

I think most of mine will remain stock. I have a bumper that needs to go on, I'll get some lights. I want bigger tires and maybe a small lift. Change out my back bumper, and I think that'll be it.

She won't be quite as flexible as some of her brothers and sisters, but my Sahara is pretty capable the way she is. But, I am not mechanical at all, so I don't want to put a bunch of mods on that I can't fix myself.

 

I love that heater (not the top vents)! And other than the headrests I really like the seats.

 

Frankly all I did was replace the stock SR-A's with the (stock Rubi) Km's and level out the front. In all likelyhood that's all I'm going to be doing. There's nothing wrong in my opinion with the stock bits for my purposes.

Don't get me wrong, if I ever won the lottery I'd sink 20grand into mods but right now I'm perfectly satisfied with it the way it is,

 

X2 on the stock flairs, love them...

 

as they said before, soft top, I can't find a reason to change it.
