Lets Talk Toolboxes
I'm your average Joe Suntree mechanic. I'm not a professional, nor do I see myself opening a autobody shop anytime in my life. I buy my tools at Sears or Harbor Freight.
But I need a tool chest. The good sized ones that are on wheels and weigh about 100lbs. A decent one that will last me for 15-20 years. I don't plan to use it every day, all day. I plan to use it a few times a month when I'm working on my Jeep or I need to get tools together for a wrench day with my local club.
To that end I've been looking at toolboxes from companies like Craftsman and Kobolt. My budget was originally $400 but I'm begining to suspect that might not be enough to cover what I'm looking for. I know to look for ball bearing sliders but other than that, I'm clueless.
What do my fellow weekend wrench jockies use? Why do you like it? How long you had it?
