I know there have been a lot of discussions on is it worth it or not but I would like to know if it is like typical extended warrantees where the dealership is negotiable. I was sent a letter from my dealership offering me the lifetime package for $1750.00 w/zero deductible. Is that what others are seeing for the 07 two door Wranglers?

 

My dealer gave me a lifetime powertrain(non-transferable) for 0$ along with the usual 3/36. Any extended costs $$$$ and I had the option to pay whatever warranty plan I wanted over a year at 0% interest. No negotiating with warranties is what I've experienced.

I'd read the fine print with that warranty, because the 7/100,000$ platinum plan they showed me was about 1700$, definitely wasn't lifetime.
