Default Lift sizes

I have a '14 JKU and I want to lift it and I know I want 35's on it. What is a good lift size? I've seen 3" and 6" just don't know what I really want. Any suggestions?

Please refer to the first sticky in the modified jk tech section. Tons of info on lifts.

Sent from somewhere I really shouldn't be!

For you, I suggest cruising a show & tell thread with 4 doors and 35" tires. Find something you like and hopefully they have their info updated.

Depends on budget.

But I like about 4.5" Long Arm.

Gives you the room for 37s if you ever want; and requires no other mods to run a 35 for sure. (assuming you get a complete kit with drive shafts)

No worry about sagging from other heavy mods, no fender trimming.

I like 37's but I have been hearing that my 3.73 won't pull them good?

I won't.

But if you do a solid lift to start you won't be redoing it later as you mod more and more.

For 35's, I don't have a problem with 2.5-3"...I have a 2.5" RC spacer lift and sometimes my 315/70s feel small...

I have a 2.5 inch, flat fenders and 35's. I could probably fit 37's, but don't see the need.

2-3" lift is a norm for 35" tires. You don't have to worry much about other costly upgrades at that height in most cases. I think it looks good as well. Not to high and not to low.

Like one of the others said, go look through the lifts on 35" tires. You'll see a ton of them!

You will need exhaust mod if you go higher than 2'5'' lift on a 2014 (exhaust spacer is only 50$ + install).

Front drive shaft might need to be replaced above 3'' of lift.

2.5'' lift is cost efficient and perfect to run 35'' and won't involve many mods to your brand new jeep. I think a lower lift will cause less stress and wear on your driveline and have a better long term reliability plus it drives better on road.

If you intend to go off road often, you could go up to 3.5'' lift to improve approach and break over angles.

Look at AEV, Terraflex or Rock Krawler.
