Default Lift is on...and so is the solarcane

Spent the day today with a few friends installing my new black diamond 3" lift, skyjacker 3/4" front spacers, skyjacker steering stabilizer and skyjacker nitro shocks. The only thing missing now are my wheels/tires which should be in tomorrow. I'm very impressed with how it handles so far with the stock 32s on. I was expecting it to be stiffer than stock but if anything I rides better. Took one of the notoriously rough riding roads back home and it seemed to smooth out the bumps really well. I'm sure I'll be able to tell a difference with the new tires on but it still rides as straight as an arrow.....and that's without adj control arms OR cam bolts and with no alignment other than 3 sets of eyes. I decided not to install the cams since I plan on adding new arms in the next couple of months. I've got to dial in the steering a little more tomorrow, it's off ever so slightly but I couldn't get the esp to kick in.....so far so good! It was freakin hot as hell out there today...got up to 90 and there was no shade in sight in my buddy's driveway - I'm gonna be feeling it tomorrow, I'm red as a lobster! I'll post pics as soon as the tires get on, it looks pretty funny right now with the stock 32's.

ps It took all of about 30 seconds to decide to toss the air dam once it got time to dial in the track bar and straighten the steering. If anyone needs it, just be sure to beat the trash truck here tomorrow morning!

Glad to hear another report from someone that like the ride on their Black Diamond kit. Be sure and post pics! I know I really like mine. Check out some offroad pics from this weekend, I got to put mine to the test and it performed great!

I decided to go ahead and post a couple of pics with the stock tires on, just to show the comparison in it's stance. Please refrain from laughing at my lawnmower tires!

Those are 315/75/15 Maxxis Buckshots....I believe the actual height is right at 34.5" and they run great, not very noisy at all. I haven't had any driveshaft issues but I've only put 60 miles on since installing so let's hope it stays that way! I'm not having any issues with it being squirrly, the ride feels great, bumps feel more "rounded" now....they're more pronounced but not as rough as stock. I haven't flexed it yet and probably won't until after re-torquing everything this coming weekend. The boot is being ripped on the steering stabilizer, guess I should have installed it the other way around. But overall, I'm completely satisfied!

edit: If you look closely, you'll see my growing collection of dirt from washing the mud off in the driveway...gonna have to stop doing that soon or just go ahead and plant a garden.
