The idea of going into debt with the current economy doesn't appeal to me at all. After graduating college last May I had a small amount on a credit card I quickly worked to pay off when I got a job. Now I'm working to pay off my recently purchased Jeep as soon as I can. I figure I can live with stocker for a year and a half until I get it paid off and then when I'm free of the Jeep Payments...I now have that money I used to spend on the Jeep that I can put towards toys FOR the Jeep.
If its all paid off, I'd just work at doing them one at a time. That way you can enjoy watching her grow up step by step :-)

if you can put away 500 bucks a month you dont need a loan... save a grand buy the mods you can afford then... save another grand... buy more.
i wish i had your problem... geez... be able to put away $500 a month.
for me... every dollar has its place right now.

I've briefly considered getting a 3rd mortgage to build my Jeep, but I would never do it. ![Big Grin](https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.png)
About the only thing that makes any financial sense is to have the mods rolled into your original Jeep loan at purchase time if you are able to secure a really low interest rate (like under 3-4%).
I've always treated building my Jeeps like any other addiction. Do you think you should borrow money to go gambling?

I think that card is only good on items you buy from them. I know I have thought about signing up for that and getting tires. Yes I can pay cash for them, but interest free for a year, and an extra $50 off at the moment is a good deal. With the JKF discount, and rebates from Goodyear you could get $180 off a set of tires.

I just bought parts as I could afford them. would never do a loan to Mod the Jeep. Just do piece by piece. You can find good deals and sales on stuff you want. I did. OME+40 lift/w long travel shocks has cost me around $1200CDN!!!!! Including Lower front arms, jks front track Bar, rear Links, Stabalizer, rear TB bracket, drop pitman arm. Thats Really good IMO.

I did a small loan on the title of my wifes car. it was a 36 month loan for $5500 and i had it paid off in 6 months, because of an annual bonus i get. its just what i did.
do what ever you feel like, if you want to get a loan, get one. but i would pay it off within 12 months to keep from paying too much interest.
