I ordered a Mid-Width Signature bumper sans winch hoop from Chris at LOD and chose the extra powder-coating option as it's pretty "damp" here in the UK. Ordered it by phone last Wednesday and it shipped yesterday! That's a 4 working day turnaround! Chris was great to deal with and friendly throughout. Really looking forward to getting this bumper and it always feels even better when the customer service you receive is spot on.

Yup, Chris is good to deal with. I'd read about long lead times on these and almost ordered from Dave at Northridge just to make sure it arrived in a reasonable time. Dave quoted a 6 week lead time normally. So am happily surprised at getting it turned round, coated and shipped inside a week.

And "out for delivery" today!! That's 8 working days from first contact with Chris to delivery just outside London in the UK!!

On a less fun note, you guys in the US should count ya blessings...

Cost of bumper with extra powder-coating: $679

Cost of shipping to UK: $495

Customs and duty: $185.52

Total cost: $1359.52

So the bumper cost $679 and the shipping and customs cost $680.52...

So ya have to kinda be sure about a bumper before shipping it 'cause you certainly aint gonna be sending it back!!
