Black is a sweet color. I originally wanted steel blue, but I found black first and I like it.

 

damn man that sucks...but honestly it dos'nt seem to be the dealers fault so you can't blame them just like my order that took like 5 months it was'nt the dealers fault so as much as I want'ed to bitch out someone I just had to take it as it went they could'nt do much...

not sure what the conditions are other places but here in northern cali. your not going to find a dealership that will trade a 4 door rubi for anything but another 4 door rubi. any dealership worth a damn will know that they are hard to come by and hold on to it. so all in all your dealer actualy did all they could do they did'nt even try to find one because what were they going to do buy one off another lot for what the lot wants just to make you happy ?

 

probly need to explain myself better.... If I was in a position like a GSM, I would have offered the following...." would you like us to do a search and see if we can find you another rubicon jk - even if it is not the same color - somewhere else? - maybe you would be interested in buying it from that dealer and just have it shipped over here.?" - that would have made me less upset. At least they are trying to do something. Gee... i went to another dealer hoping that what an inventory search on jeep.com was true but they just had sold the rubi 2 days ago, flat out the salesman asked me... "do you want me to search at another dealers and see if we can bring one here for you?" - at least he offered - he did not have to but he did - how would they make money on it? - there is just no way but at least the woulda gain a happy customer.
that is customer service - keep your customers happy - even when you or somebody else messed up - I have been in the same situation as a business owner and I went waaaay over my means and power to get replacements

finally got it - flew from Chicago to Cleveland, dealer had somebody picking me up at airport , drove to Madison, OH , got my jk and drove 6 hrs back to Chicago last night - will post pics this afternoon
