Default Update

The guys at mountain offroad got back to me and here's their response.

We have began to ship these out but we are currently about 2-3
weeks out on orders for them.

Front without tube work JFB500 $654.99
Front with tube work JFB501 $ 784.99
Rear without tire carrier JRB801 $ 654.99
Rear with tire carrier JRB800 $ 1099.95

I hope this helps with anyone considering this bumper. If I ever get my jeep I'll post pics of one installed!
Good luck~~

EUREKA! That is exactly what i'm looking for. Thanks for pointing that out because I've almost pulled the trigger on several bumpers, but this one is the first to meet all my criteria.... being stubby, winch guard, winch mount AND fog holes. Every other bumper I've seen had one of those pieces missing. Be it fog holes or not being a stubby or not having a guard.....now i have something else to wait on. yay!

I just talked to Steve at MORE...and according to him these front bumpers are going to be offered in bare steel only, despite the picture showing a powder coated version.

Am I the only one that thinks that a bit retarded? 750+ for a bare steel bumper isn't as much of a steal (pun intended) as I originally thought. Still the best bumper for what I'm looking for, but having to pay for it to be powder coated on top of the base cost makes it a mighty expensive stubby bumper.

Well, in all fairness to MORE, they are located in rual America and they simply don't have any powder coating facilities near them. Also, I know there are a lot of guys who prefer no coating as they like to color match the bumpers to their Jeep.

Yeah, I mean there are plenty of people who want bare steel...I just think the price seems a bit high....I wasn't trying to downplay the quality or anything, just seems a bit high when everyone else offers powder coated.

But I'm still thinking I'm going to order one, if that's any indication. Now I just need to figure out where I can get it powder coated. I imagine that won't be too difficult.
