Default Mopar Fuel Door/Black Bolts

Just picked up a black Mopar fuel door for my JK, I had seen on here before that some guy's have found black bolts to replace the silver ones that come with the kit.

Anyone here have information on the black bolts, and where I can get some ?

Most black bolts from the hardware store are black oxide or oil and phospate. Neither of which is worth a hoot for corrosion resistance.

You want something with black geomet, for proper durability.
That's a tough find on the open market.

A black Markal paint marker would work as well as spray paint and be as easy as the Sharpie.

Got the message and replied. You should know that they are not stainless or aluminum and started to rust the first time it rained. I rustoleum'd the original and used them until I find a suitable substitute. I will part with the rest if anyone wants them. It cost about $2.50 to send them out. I'm not looking to recoup the cost of the screws but the postage will add up quick.

I'm thinking Grainger's "furnace black" meant black oxide, at best.
Ace has a whole section of chrome fasteners. Why not something in black for those of us "less blingy?"

You wanted aluminum, so I found some for ya in black:

(need cut down in length and head appears taller than yours, but...)

I'm not a big fan of aluminum fasteners, but those fuel doors aren't seeing much stress.
