I don't know ... I do know that on every other model wrangler the half doors cost WAY less than the full doors.

I cant see how the half doors would cost more. The full doors have windows and many have power locks and power windows. Maybe if you had the cost of the soft uppers it could be close.

It only deducts from a vehicle with the power option. If it is equipped with manual doors there is no discount.

I'm pretty sure that on the 06 TJs the full door option was less than $200.

Found this on Chryslers "The Scoop" page.

Half-window and Half-door Kits
Since 1987, Jeep Wrangler soft-top model vehicles have been available with factory-installed half-doors, which have become known as a signature, uniquely Jeep feature. This year, Authentic Jeep Accessories by Mopar offers half-window kits and half-door kits for 2007 model year and newer Jeep Wrangler vehicles. These doors are available in kit form, which will enable customers to convert their Jeep Wrangler for summertime and trail-riding use and easily switch back to full doors when needed. Both kits will be available starting in June 2009.

I meant if you bought the doors separate from the dealer at a later date.

You may be right, but who knows? No one ever needed to buy them at the stealer... Half doors were everywhere in the TJ era- still are, of course, if you have a TJ. Dime a dozen on fleabay.

Okay I just got back from my dealership and its not in their parts books. I know the people there quite well. My friend and I go there quite often so he can get parts for his TJ.

We even looked at the 09 parts catalog and nothing. I have a feeling that its been delayed inevitably due to the bankruptcy.
