Mopar hood lock is a POS!

Mopar hood lock is a POS!
After finding the right tool to install it, finaly got it on... Guess what! It doesn't work! The key coded fine, but i could still open it! After playng with it, the F-ing thing totaly broke!
Now the question is, do you think i can get my money back? If yes, then how? Do i write jparts.com or Mopar?
