mud flaps?
No, but now that you mention it... Maybe I'll get a set with chrome bikini girls, or playboy bunny on em!! LOL.. Don't like the OEM's and would rather just let the mud splatter all over.. Looks cooler!!
I bought the Teraflex quick release for the rear. I haven't run with them yet, but waiting to use them as a get out of jail card when and if I get pulled over for 40" tires and relatively no flares.
unfortunately, yes, we do. fortunately, they are the teraflex ones and are quick release...

I think it is the size of the flap in comparison to the tire that reminds me of that.
I noticed right away when I bought my jk new that I needed something because the front tires were throwing everything from the ground up onto the side of my jeep. I thought it through on what I should get and in the end it seemed to me that the stock mopar mud flaps would get ripped off when going over moderately sized rocks because they are so solid unlike the traditional mud flap that can fold and bend.
Because I also wanted to be able to step up when working with the soft top or when washing the JK or what ever, I went with the factory mopar SIDE STEPS commonly seen on sahara's. It has worked out great in the last year. They block anything that flips up from the road and have a few more uses. they don't do much for the people behind you and maybe not the greatest for acting as a rock guard... o.k. they're crap for that being hollow... but they function great otherwise. price wasn't too bad when considering what mopar flaps cost. Look up the part number and go to jeepcarparts1.com for a great deal.
