(4 - 265/70/17 Kumho MUD MT KL71 Tires with 8000 miles)

I have a chance to buy these tires with 8k miles on them for $400 or B/O. The owner told me they are load range E. In great shape with no plugs, patches, or cupping and they just came off an FJ cruiser....

Do you guys think that's to stiff (load range E) for the jk? Will it ride like complete garbage?

I run load range E Toyos on my JK, and I love them. They're 35's, so they offer more sidewall flext than the smaller size will, but I found that when I dropped them to 24 psi they work just fine.

Mine work exactly like that. I say go for it.

I have 255-75-r17 stock tires on stock rims now. I also have 1.5 spidertrax wheel spacers. These should fit I think...

The 265# is the height....taller but is the 70 number the width? Is it wider?

Thanks

The 265 is the aspect ratio of the sidewall and is considered the width, the other is the sidewall height. I would say its roughly a 33" tire. Good luck.

You have it backwards, the 265 is the with, the 70 is the aspect ratio (height verses width)
