My conversation...
... with my local, corporate auto parts store, when calling to check on the availability of some hose for my B&M Supercooler install (I'm not making this up)...
Me: Hi, I'm trying to find some transmission oil cooler hose. I'm putting in an external cooler and the kit I have doesn't have enough.
GED recipient: Ummm, sir, you aren't supposed to put oil in your transmission. You put transmission fluid in it.
Me (after being speechless for a moment): Ok, do you have any transmission fluid cooler hose?
Captain Acne: I have some hoses.
Me: I need some that's 3/8".
Mouth breather: I got some fuel line hose. Will that work?
Me: No. The hose I need has to have a high heat tolerance.
Nose picker: Well it does get pretty warm underneath your car. It would probably work.

Sadly, that call was just the beginning. I called six other stores before finally finding one guy who had a brain. Asked him about it and he immediately said had had two rolls of twenty-five feet each in stock.
I tried to man hug him through the phone.

A guy came into my bar last week and ordered a Red Bull vodka (exactly how he said it). I told him Red Bull doesn't make vodka. You could almost see the gears in his head grinding to a halt.
