Side steps and 17" wheels weren't part of the S package (at least not when I ordered). No biggie though. I like my 16s and will be buying the side steps in the near future.

As for black wheels. Those *may* be in my JKs future.

Hey Karla since you're probably the newest JK owner here can you tell us if the dashboard plastic is still easily scratched?

Boy that is sweet. I was tempted to get an 06 yellow rubi when I first started looking, but then I test drove a JK. End of story. I hope you enjoy your's as much as I enjoy mine.

Hi Lucas! Well, I tried the fingernail test in a few places and wasn't able to make any scratches, though I didn't press *really* hard. I did let my dog take a gander at the inside of the JK and he ran across my center console, making two little scratches in the plastic. They're not noticeable at all even though he really dug his nails in.

Overall, the slate gray interior is darker than I expected and looks like pretty good quality plastic to me.

So far I'm really happy with my JK. No dents from the factory, everything looks painted well, there's no annoying squeaks (at least not yet) and the soft top doesn't appear to leak. Let's hope everything stays that way!

Thanks for the info. It seems they may have made a change to the crappy dash plastic that so many complained about. Now if they can get the stall bug fixed.

Great looking JK. That yellow looks really sweet.
