Im contacting The Daimler group as I type. We will see what they have to say for themselves.....
I will post back with an update...

Based on the responses i have received from them in regards to my silly putty plastic and stall bug, i am betting their reply will be akin to something sounding like...

*WAH*

I hope your results vary. They wouldnt even send me the cheese they recommended i serve with my complaints.

This isnt about being a good product or well built. It is a safety issue that requires immediate attention........

Just got off the phone with level 2 support. They have forwarded my issue to some specific department that will be calling me shortly they say. Hopefully these things gets fixed before anyone else gets hurt!

If you mentioned injury, you can be pretty sure that their legal team is now "in the loop" on this one. If some woman can get millions from McDonald's for spilling hot coffee on herself (WTF?), I think the LEAST that DCX/Mopar can do is refund your purchase price and give you some vouchers for free accessories... I'm being totally serious here - unless there was some sort of warning (and we know that there wasn't) advising you of the potential "sharpness" danger (on an object that you wouldn't reasonably expect to BE sharp!), then they dropped the ball from a consumer-safety standpoint.

Good luck, and please keep us posted.

I stuck my hand out the window palm side up to feel how cold it was out. Upon bringing my hand back into the window my palm caught the edge of the new wind deflector. It sliced my wrist wide open. I could not believe what I was seeing!

How long have you had feelings of despondency and
hopelessness?

Try to appreciate the good things about your JK instead
of focusing on the bad.

Glad you had the courage to get to the JK Forum and
ask for help.

After cleaning the blood off my door I bandaged the wound up. If anyone else has these please check and see if your edges are razor sharp. This is not a good thing, especially if your passenger doesnt know about it and decides to stick their hand out the window. God forbid it be a child.....
Come on now, we all know you were trying to commit suicide, but then chickened out after you cut yourself and blamed it on the wind deflector, so you could sue and get millions of dollars for damages and pain and suffering, and buy a big a$$ house with a hanger at an airport filled with jk's
LOL Just Kiddin'

That sucks that you sliced your wrist open. I can't wait to hear what the team says about it when they come out. Be sure to un-bandage your wound and stick it in their faces.

(letter encolsed in wind deflector package to ex)
"I know we have had our differences but I'd like to give you what's in this package as a token of my sympathy for your bit*hy a$$. It's the latest thing on the market. All you do is put it on the back of your neck and use a sawing motion to releive stress and anxiety."
