Need help on decision
I know there are other threads out there but I can't find them all and I want opinions based on the mods I have.
Currently I have a 2008 JKU Sahara.
I have 33" tires (soon to be 35")
4" of full suspension lift
Front bumper and winch (telling you for weight purposes)
I want to re gear and I'm thinking 4.56 or 4.88?? Opinions please?!?
Last pic is before the lift

Because the auto has a very tall overdrive and needs a little more axle ratio so it doesn't hunt in and out of overdrive. You are likely to have longer transmission life and better mpg with 4.88's and the auto. The manual has a shorter orderdrive and the 4.56's will be more optimum.

I wheel maybe once or twice a month - no crawling just good ole' country mudding - camping etc. I'm a newbie on the modifying end of Jeeps (or any vehicle for that matter) how does 5.13s help more than 4.88? More power - I drive highwy a lot so need to be able to go 70-75 and id like better gas mileage if possible :() lol thanks for any help and info.

Sorry to bump this as I know it isn't beneficial to anyone but me - but can someone let me know your opinion on 5.13s vs. 4.88? I'm sorry for being such a n00b!! I just want to get it right and know what I'm getting!
