I'm getting the tub of my Jeep Line - x today. I have a red 2007 4 door Jk and I've got Pro Comp black rims, black tube bumpers and black nerf bars. I also have black half doors. With all that said I really don't want a black tub. I think it will be to hot in the summer ( I take the top off and keep it off all summer) I'm leaning toward getting it yellow. The guy from Line -X liked the idea but I'm now having second thoughts. He suggested that I go with a silver if I thought the yellow was to bright. The line x will include the lip around the back that the solf top slips under.
Any thoughts?

it's just too much red. I pulled the carpets out months ago. I spend a lot of time on the sand and the carpets were too much of a pain in the a** to keep clean. Plus I have a large dog that sheds. Anyway with the carpets out the red has been exposed for a while and it's just too much red.

Don't Pick Black! Black will absorb to much heat. Even at tyhja t no matter what clor you go make sure you have something fopr your dog to stand opr lay on as the material you are using no matter what color will abnsorb enough heat to damage the nerves in your dogs paws. Just use caution.

Colors:
yellow; then you will be scrubbing it to keep clean
black: too hot
silver: is it a silver or more charcoal, too charcoal is black.
What about a brown... not deep brown,
BROWN. Hides dirt, isn't black, isn't red and dang sure aint YELLER

My first thought is that yellow would look horrible (Like a Washington Redskins Helmet)
but maybe more of a gold tone, wouldn't need the scrubbing, dirt would not show up so much.
or even maybe a Kakki (sp?), tan color?

Got the silver. I must say it looks good. Only problem was that the guy sprayed over the floor plugs. He had to cut them out, sand the area down and respray.
I had them spray the lip along the rear of the tub and the area outside of the tub to the bend in the fenders ( along the top: only about 2 inches) that way I'll have a small strip of silver showing below the top. I have not put the top on yet, but I think it will look good.
I still like the idea of the yellow, but between you guys and my son, who said that it would look like a McDonalds french fry box going down the road, I went with the silver.
