I think you're right about that, and I think it's just a proportions issue. The bumper is pretty big, and the Rigid pods look really small in comparison. Larger round lights probably going to look best in general with that specific bumper.

Also, I scrolled back up and looked at Rednroll's pics again. I now see why you were asking the original question. That winch does sit really low in the bumper. My buddy's Warn sticks up a lot, and he also has a bull bar so I don't think I ever realized how that bumper lifts up just a bit there there by the top of the winch.

 

I haven't mounted it yet, but I got a 12in LED light bar for Christmas. I think this should look pretty decent on the AEV bumper. It has slideable mounts, so I plan on mounting to the existing holes where AEV typically mount those big IPF brackets and lights. <$24 on Amazon, 141 ratings coming in at 4.5 stars. Seems worth trying out.
