Default New Tailgate

I will spare you all of the foul-mouth expletives that have been firing out of my face like Vulcan Machine Gun Salvos, but I seem to have a crease/dent in my tailgate. Since it's never a wise move in my house to question the war admiral, I decided I will suck it up and get it fixed even though it "Magically happened" while I was out of town.
Question: should I just buy a new tail gate or can something like this be fixed? It is creased so I assume the whole thing needs to be replaced? Where would be a good place to buy the replacement?

thanks.

thanks.

When I was rear-ended a few months ago, they ended up replacing just the actual steel of the back door. They re-used the spare tire bracket, hinges, handle, lock, etc. I don't recall the exact price since the other guy's insurance covered it, but I can dig it up if you want, let me know.
