I opted for the wheels also, Black rock steely 17s for under $400 for the set. Got me the backspace I needed and a more durable wheel.

x2 on the going with 35s, you may regret it later and you will definitely lose MPGs and power. I'm running 35's on 4.10s and have lost a little but not much, but I still plan on going to 4.88s soon!

Welcome to the forum. My Jeep is still all stock too and I am gathering ideas for upgrades. I have been observing some of the member rigs here and have come to admire the modifications on Jae Suite's rig. Reading his profile has given me some good ideas. I don't know anything and can give you plenty of good uninformed information so just ask anytime.

thanks for the input guys, i was looking into getting spacers but was not sure if i needed to. i am looking to keep the stock wheels..looks like i might have to. i will only be doing moderate trails when i do go out and about, so it doesnt seem like a bad idea getting them to prevent any rubbing or atleast remove any doubt that it will.
