It was a nice day here in Seattle, 80 and sunny. So I had the top down, and certainly saw many Jeeps without the top.

They gave me a wave , so I waved back .

I know exactly what kind of day you're talking about!

Unfortunately the Jeep Wave seems non-existent in Jacksonville, FL.

 

if i had my jeep and i was in j-ville, id give you a

 

today here in MA I had the top down and my son asked me...how do the other Jeep drivers now to wave back???...

 

My girlfriend lives in Rhode Island, and there aren't many jeeps down there for some reason, but here in the Boston area, there are tons. I was amazed when the man in the Black TJ popped my Jeep wave cherry...

But when my girlfriend came up, and 3 jeeps in a 5 minute window waved, she was confused, wondering how I knew so many people.... Then I explained the wave....



The wave is just one of the many things that makes thing awesome! Now imagine how much more fun it would be if those "I'm too cool to wave" jeep drivers started waving (Or bought themselves an H3 or something).

 

Wave schmave, I got dissed on 2 waves today!! WTF?? both to Modded TJ's, I don't understand? I usually only wave to modded rigs, but if someone waves to me, I always wave back, always. But today, I gave the nod and a wave, both times passing and had eye contact with the driver, and nothing... notta.... I can only assume they are just jealous of my JK

 

I have no wave where I live as of now . There are alot of jeeps here so my new objective is........to single handedly revive the Jeep wave on the sunshine coast.

I'll report back on my progress.

 

Thats my objective for NorthEast Florida! Hrm...we should start a club for the revival of the wave. :toung:

 

Out of pure curiosity, is the Jeep wave a Wrangler-only deal??? I never give those grand cherokee, cherokee or liberty guys a wave... Am I being the "too cool to wave" guy to non-wrangler owners????

 

I've been wondering the same thing.. The is alive and well in Va. Beach but it is always the JK,CJ,TJ people. I have not gotten a wave back from Libby's or Cherokee's??
