I get both of those in my JK. I also think the noise is the radio. I get it every time.

just throwing darts at a board, but the delay could also be the electronic ignition

I have that sound, I don't think it is the cd player. It sounds deeper, could it be the fuel pump pressurizing the system?

the sound is the cd player no one knows why.

the computer controlles EVERY THING and it's slow.

The humming is actually coming from the engine compartment, I've had the hood open and heard it and saw something move at teh top of the block, though I have no idea what it is. I'm guessing something to do with the electronics. The start delay is because the starter is computer controlled, not mechanical where you actually have to turn the key. I'm suprised no one has come out with an aftermarket push to start button, you'd just need the key near the ignition to read the sentry code.
