Default Off Road Evolution's Black JK

I've been druling over Off Road Evolution's Black JK that was shown at Sema, http://project-jk.com/wp-gallery2.php?g2_itemId=43133 I'm curious to know what lift and wheel setup they installed to clear the 40X15.50 tires that were on it. It looks similar to the Rancho long arm kit with the radius arm in the front, but not the rear, however it has to be at least a 6" lift and I don't think Rancho has one. I would also like to know what wheels they were running. If anyone happened to be at the show and remember, a post would be appreciated...

Thanks for the inquirey. Check out 4 Wheel Drive and Sport Utilty Magazine last month for the complete build. That was our 2 Wheel Drive to 4 Wheel Drive Conversion. We started with a 2 Wheel Drive Sahara - Added Dynatrac Pro Rock 60 Axles, Atlas Transfercase and a Rancho Long Arm Kit. In order to clear the Toyo 40" Mud Terrains we used custom coils. The wheels are Prototype Ultra 22" Wheels and are not available yet. If you are interested in running 40's give us a call. 714.870.5515.

Default New Ultra wheel

Yes on the wheels there are wheel spacers, actually more like a wheel adaptor.
The Ultra Prototype Rims were designed for the stock JK Bolt pattern 5 on 5. Ultra wheels wanted to run 40 inch tires on the vehicle in there SEMA booth . All the Jks that we have built to run 40s have Dynatrac Dana 60s under them with a bolt pattern of 5 on 5.5 so we made some custom adaptors.

The effect came out great for the SEMA show and would be used on a show vehicle only, not for the road. This rim is very popular and will be released for purchase soon. Since the show we have changed the wheels to the Ultra Goliath Wheels with the correct bolt pattern. Thanks you for your comments.

If you would like to build a vehicle on 40's we would be able to ship coils to you in Arizona. The coil size is going to depend on what lift kit and axles you are running.

Thanks
Mel

22"s and 40"s, Thats big, for sure. Do you have any more pics with the new wheels you swapped to? Do they tuck more? Are they also 22"s.

I'm very interested in some custom coils...my current JK just has a cheepo Superlift on it, but since adding custom bumpers and a winch I have lost about 3/4" to 1" of height. I thought if I could find coils about 1" taller than the coils that came with my lift I would be back to the expected height of my lift. Do you think this would work?

My earlier enquiry is genuine. I'm planning on building a second JK and want it to look like your black JK. Thanks for the post!
