Oil changes

Mine gets an oil change every 6 months. Usually about 2K miles. I've got the LT powertrain warranty and my 08 calls for 6K miles or 6 months. It's overkill, but I get my filters from my dealer so they won't have any excuse on the warranty if something goes wrong.

Just did my oil change today. Every 5,000 miles with Royal Purple 5w30.

This is my first American car, but 5k oil change intervals for now. I have checked the oil level and color on the JK and all seems good right now
The VW I had recommended every 10k! Synthetic always. My Tdi vw likes to turn oil black no matter what.

I end up changing around 4000 with mobil1 synthetic. The change oil light usually comes on right around 3000. I also check the oil every now and then between changes in case its using any oil.

Whenever the change oil indicator lights up, usually around 5300 miles.

1st change at 2,ooo now every 3000-3300 and due soon as i ihave 10,200 showing
have never found the dip stick to show any indication of oil usage
all is good , ig i found it using oil when out of warranty ITS GONE

I following the owners manual and use Pennzoil Ultra Synthetic.
