Default Oil pressure

I have a 2013 wrangler. The oil pressure hits max 99psi while warming up. Is that too high. It has 7000miles

. The gauge. I had a check engine light. I scrolled thru the menus and found Oil pressure at 99psi, max for the gauge. Took to the dealer and they replaced the oil pressure sender and cleared the code but pressure still reads high

Your oil pressure seems to be right where it should be.

The 3.6L engine has 3 oil pressure ranges based on rpm.

600 - 1200 rpm = 5 psi (warm) to 139 psi (cold)
1201 - 3500 rpm = 30 psi (warm) to 139 psi (cold)
3501 - 6400 rpm = 62 psi (warm) to 139 psi (cold)

Was the code you had oil pressure related? If so, is it still a current code?
There are some things related to oil viscosity, filter installation, correctness of the filter, that will set an oil pressure code.

Your Jeep came with an oil pressure gauge? Or are you saying that it has a pressure sender (not the idiot light switch the earlier models had), and that it is accessible only through menus? Curious, because something like Android Torque Pro might give folks an OP gauge if so.
