Glad to hear your keeping your jeep. I know what you mean about belonging in a jeep. I drove the wifes camry today and boy did I feel goofy and out of place especially being the big 200+ lbs guy I am. Oh well though. I've seen a 400 lbs looking guy in a geo metro with a 2-300 lbs looking woman and an adult German Shepard in there too. They were walking at the beach then got in the geo and left. I never would have guessed that was there vehicle. Anyway I don't have anything against bigger people, I was just surprised to see them get in a geo!

 

I sold my 2007 Sahara Unlimited when gas skyrocketed,bought an econo -box & a used 4x4 non-Jeep.That's what knee-jerk panic does.Now I have the 2010 Unlimited,& life is the way it should be.When gas creeps up,& you start worrying,do this;take the total miles per year you drive;Divide by your mpg; multiply by $ per gal.Thats your yearly fuel cost.divide by 12=monthly cost,;Now figure the cost of another car-payments,insurance,registration.Figure your fuel cost savings,then subtract all the related costs.Probably little or no savings.Remember,$1,000 more in fuel a year is about $2.74 a day!
