So bottom line too get somethign to so sweet, you got to put some money in it and this damn backpressure in an issue everywhere. too bad. I just love that sound soo freakin much its music, but i love the jk more so i got it instead of a mustang, hehe. but it would be nice to have something sound so sweet. thanks all for the replies.

actually I think someone has a youtube of their JK with a hemi at the track...pretty cool.

dude leave your Jk alone...go get a hot rod you need one apparently...lol

Man if i had the money too get a hot rod i would instead put a hemi on my jk and make it sound like one, but look like a true jeep. But now iam barely gona pay for the fog lights am gona buy from a member here. heheh

Good luck with that, hehe. after 5 years maybe when iam done paying off the jeep, il get it moded heavily, but for now small affordable mods, unless i win a lottery or someone donates a huge amount, hehe, but iam sure not of these will happen.

Actually backpressure is bad for performance. A good exhaust system will minimize backpressure as much as possible.

What you need is a properly tuned exhaust that uses the sound waves to create scavanging. Also, you want an exhaust system that keeps the exhaust temps as high as possible. Hot air = light air and light air is easier to evacuate from the tail pipe. That is why so many high performance engines use have wrapped exhaust all the way to the muffler.

Thats why when my gibson is cold it sounds so funny, then when it warms up ut has the growl. Cool info, thanks. But il save up put a hemi in do all necessary mods and put open headers, damn i love their sound.
