Default Opinions wanted on mirror style

I'm getting ready for the warm months and want to get a quality aftermarket mirror for doors off time. I have power mirrors and don't want to mess with removing the door panels to undo the electrical connections for stock mirror relocation. I'm going with safari style or quick release, which is basically safari, but maintains a permanent bracket on the a pilar. Opinions or other suggestions appreciated!

I'd go the quick release route. I had the Olympic safari style that bolts to the hinges and they were pretty much useless, vibrated so much. Once I switched to the Rugged Ridge quick release, I could actually see again.

There's a ton of mirror reviews on the site.

On almost every aftermarket option you are going to have trouble seeing the passenger side one because of the dash blocking it. That's why I went with the Dietech brackets which are vibration-free and put the mirrors back in the stock location. I also purchased the Bestop replacement mirrors so I don't have to remove my mirrors from the doors every time. Dietech sells them as a package deal. This is in my opinion the best option but also the most expensive, around $200.

I'm really ocd, so the vibration would drive me crazy. Good call on that. The Rugged Ridge quick release is pretty much the same as Quadratec, but I think I'd rather have square. Thanks for posting!

I really like those, but you're right - I'd end up spending close to $200 once I bought new mirrors. I found some knock offs on eBay for $65 a pair plus shipping, so that would make a little difference but I'm not sure about the quality there. Was hoping to get by around 50-100. Thanks for the option!

quadratec has a new mirror relocation bracket that eliminates the blind spots. Its on page 47 of the new catalog. It is a a little pricey at 249 bucks and i dont think you can do if you have the power mirror option. This looks like the most promising mirror relocation i have seen yet.

These are the exact ones I want to get, aside from being more than I want to spend. They can be used with power mirrors, but that entails having to remove the inner door panels and disconnecting the electrical. Seems like a pita. Not to mention that I'll no longer have power mirrors at that point. I guess that's one of the downsides of getting a JK with all the options.

I've got the round RR relocation mirror just for the driver side and I love mine. I got it for like $25. No vibration.

They aren't a bad price and they are an easy install.
I tried relocation bracket and the messed up my stock mirrors.
The RR look great
And perform well. They don't move or shake
But if you take your jeep into the trees then a good size branch will move them to where you can't see out of them.
What I did to make them easy to set up is I used a paint pen to mark where I like them and then I just line it all up and you're good to go
