You know, the first thought that crossed my mind was the YJ Renegade package:

There is a market for most things. Lets say the Jeep RIPPMODS posted was an actual edition of the Wrangler, and lets say that edition came with a Hemi right from the factory with warranty and all.
Lets also say that the only thing you would have to do to save that piece of junk from a life of shame was to dump $3K to $4K in it in the form of lift kit, bumpers, (new fenders) and other little things to remove the yuck and bring out the beast....
Would everyone's opinion of this vehicle change then?

I would love to take the doors and top off and roll around, high speed, chilln regardless. jeep is more to me than go anywhere, it's enjoying the trip! Fast or slow, the aura about a jeep is chill, it's exciting, it's thrilling...etc. And as long as you can kick a leg out, and let the sun pour in, I'm down!

Well, I'm a minority but I actually like the concept.
No it isnt a true wrangler but I dont care. I have always enjoyed SEMA and car shows and seeing what people come up with. I could give a shit about a winch shown in an artist's concept that was originally an April fools joke.
I would love to see the concept put into reality, it would be a fun vehicle to check out. Much more interesting to me than the chrome everything lifted pickups i see that would come unglued if they drove over a piece of gum.
Would i want it or would I buy it? Hell no. I'd buy an Overland in a heartbeat if i could afford anything along that lines. I just think the concept itself is intriguing.

I think with more like urban styling itd be great..I keep an open mind, with some nice 20 SRT8 style wheels or , on bfg all terrains 33 inch with no lift, fix the rake, some custom sport style bumpers, itd be great...or some nice 5 spoke HRE like wheels with a nice offset and lip, I'd go for it actually, I have a rubicon yes, but I dont take it offroad nor do I have the time, if it looks good and rides good, I'd buy a sports appearance package made by you guys!, just make sure it looks more euro style and is flush fit...

it reminds me of that one body kit on the YJ i think. i remeber the first time i seen one i about shit a brick and my other jeep budy said chill it came that way
