Default Is this part of the Jeep experience?

I'm driving down the road today, topless and doorless, when I feel a whack and then an incredible stinging sensation on the right side of my neck. I take a swipe at the area and see a dead bee land in the floorboard. That freaking bee got me good.

Does this happen often or did I have just have bad luck today?

By the way, Social Distortion's song Bad Luck was playing at the time.

I've never had the misfortune to have it happen with a stinging insect, but I get mud and dirt thrown at me after coming off trail now and then. So I'd say it was bad luck AND just a part of the Jeep experience

i'm on my third jeep and roughly 6th year of driving doorless as often as possible and i've yet to have it happen to me. by my estimates, you'd likely be hit by lightning before you have it happen again, although you'd prolly rather it be the other way around.

Was driving down a twisty on my motorcycle at about 40mph, saw a black dot floating across the road and it smacked me right in the neck, where it stayed and proceeded to sting me 3 times before I could pluck it off. Amazed I didn't wreck, was a wasp. I've had to swat a few yellow jackets out of the jeep already, seems to be a hazard inherent to open livin.

Had the same thing happen to me on my motorcycle, 'cept it flew into the sleeve of my t-shirt, got stung 4-5 times before I could get pulled over and kill the little bugger.

No bees, but I got pooped on by a bird. Thank God it hit my arm and didn't get all over the console.

That's some bad luck.... getting stung by a bee while driving.

On the flip side -
They do say that it is good luck to get pooped on by birds.

No stings yet. Just bird poop and a beetle, that was the size of a small bird, hit my arm. Felt like somebody hit me with a golf ball.

70mph on my dirt bike no eye protection, big black and yellow bee, gave me a black eye. another time, doing a wheely on my dirt bike, yellow jacket got into my shirt and stung me six times before I could kill it. Thought I was going to die before I got the bike undercontrol and stopped.
