Does this happen often or did I have just have bad luck today?

This happens regularly to me. Last week I got hit buy a moth about the size of a donut and two days later large bee, luckily I didn't get stung. I think I hit them with the roof rack and it shoots them down at me.

Oh come on now. Your screen name is Biker Glen and this is the first time you've been stung driving down the road? I've been stung many times in my 35+ years of riding and I know it's just a matter of time before one of them gets me riding around topless. Buck up mommas boy!

By the way, I'm just pulling your chain......all in good fun.

Nice to see there are people that like social D on here , thats pretty cool. I have never in all my years ever been stung, thats kind of funny man. I have been hit with a little rock, not sure how it jumps up sideways and gets you, but it has happened.

Yep, top down and a wasp was sucked right over the top of the windshield and right down the collar of my shirt. The little hit me twice on my back before I could convince it to stop.

Then look down a couple of threads to freak accident and read about my rock encounter yesterday.

Never had any of this happen before buying the JK. I'm writing it down as the cost for having so much fun.

Although I've never had an incident involving a stinging insect... I was driving with the doors and top off in the rockys. When in front of me flies a crow (if any of you have been north you know that these are huge birds here) I stikes me dead in the windshield and lands in the passenger seat. The thing was going frantic I had to punch it out the passenger side. The worst part was cleaning the bird shit that was all over the inside. Good news is the windshield held up and didn't break or crack.

On a motorcycle once I had a bee get stuck between the seat and my family jewels! OUCH! It actually missed the jewels and hit me right next to them. Still a sensitive area!

Have any of you every been sitting at a light and had a swarm attack your car. Always wondered what would happen if I was in my Jeep with the top off. I think they are just relocating and not out to sting anything, but they are bouncing off the windows etc.
