Default Parts stores fail!!

I went looking for a Quadratec/4Wheel Parts/Northridge app and I was shocked when I couldn't find one. You would think one of these kinds of stores would have one.

Just imagine. You're forced to the store/mall. Bored out of your mind, you reach for your phone and bring up your favorite parts store app and order any product they have available.

Seems like a missed opportunity to jump on those with compulsive buying habits. lol.

It would be nice to have, retailers!!! just sayin'!

PSC?? not sure I have seen that site. Mobile site is not the same thing as an app. Apps run faster than sites. well, in most cases if built right.

I would really like an app on my phone for these sites as well. Would probably make me buy more though lol. It would be nice if you could save your wish list so every time you log in you can see your bigger orders your saving up for to give you motivation to save money, well some people might not need it but I do lol.

The big problem is designing something that can handle thousands of products but not get bogged down by the limited capabilities of the current Smartphone OSs. I agree it would lubricate sales but the most likely thing is they are content with the current amount of sales. Anyone looking to jump on the opportunity has pretty much a wide open market!

Amazon has an app. Doesn't get bogged down. I think they have a few thousand items for sale.

The cost of developing a mobile app can be quite high for these smaller businesses to justify.

I just use the mobile sites. It's just as easy and just as fast as most app stores I have used.

Keep an older issue catalog in the Jeep or other car.
