Patriot replaces Wrangler on jeep.ca homepage...
If DC is so back-logged on the Wrangler, it would just make sense for them to push an alternative. Perhaps the Patriot is the answer (fingers crossed)?
On a related note, I always get upset when I see adds for the new Wranglers. We even have a Wrangler themed subways station in Montreal! Don't they have enough orders already?

I saw the Patriot in person at the Washington Auto Show. Very disappointing. All it is is a boxier version of the Compass. It looked like it had a more aggressive stance in pictures when in person it looked like a squared off Compass. I'd bet a dime and a dollar its the same platform. Wheres that limp wristed emoticon when you need it?
If anything they should be pushing the new Liberty(Baby Commander) That seems like the way to go IMO. On second thought, The new Liberty isnt being released yet is it?

:-) I just wish _something_ would get people off the Wrangler Unlimited bandwagon! I want my Jeep! :-)
I went to the local autoshow a few weeks back, and nothing comes close to the Wrangler. Well, almost. I thought the Honda Pilot wasn't too bad, although it only comes in Automatic. The Land Rover LR3 wasn't too bad either, but kinda pricey. The Xterra is boring, and the FJ looks like an H3 (bulky and no interior space).
I guess I'll just have to be patient.... :-)
