I read in another thread that the Truck-Lite heated LED lamps are not specifically for the JK. They are for a military use. The wiring harness is not the same as what is needed in the JK. It is my understanding that Off Road Elements was modifying the military heated units by attaching the appropriate wiring for the JK. Therefore the modified military lamp is no longer warranted by Truck-Lite. From the thread I read Off Road Elements takes on warrantying the units.

I'd prefer to buy the head lamps from a dealer who backs their work as opposed to me buying the military unit hacking it up and causing a problem with it.

I've been putting these in my shopping cart at Northridge and then removing them for months. I live in LA, but have friends and family in the Midwest. Is snow buildup an issue? Also, they have pulse modulator/anti-flicker harnesses, do you need those and the other available adapters, or just the anti-flicker ones?

They do ice over quite a bit here in Jersey in inclement weather. I run piaa 520 ion yellow halogen during snow storms. U don't NEED the anti flicker. U can just get the h4 adaptor and ul be fine
